Tierra Buena Community Garden

Tierra Buena Community Garden was established November 2009.  It is located at 789 Main St., San Jacinto, CA 92583.  It is east of Hewitt and west of Ramona Expressway.

Garden plots of 20ft. x 20ft. are available at a cost of $25 per year.

For more information call Mary at 951-766-8659 x 224 or visit their website.

They also host gardening events so it is good to keep checking their website.

I asked for an update from a friend who gardens there and here is her response: “Tierra Buena Community Garden has a facebook page and gives the information on who to call if you are interested.  Now-a-days, there isn’t much involvement on anyone’s part to run the garden.  The original group isn’t involved anymore in it and Exceed (who owns the land) doesn’t do much that I can tell.  The winter months are a slow time there and people are starting up again now for spring.  We still enjoy it a lot and do our own thing.  I’m sure there are openings still.  Let me know if you join!  :)”
