Hydroponics Workshop (Valley Ctr) — September 29

Drats!  I wrote this, but forgot to post it in time.  This blog gets attention only after homeschooling, laundry et al….   I am posting this even though it is late because you can arrange for a class in your location of choice.    I hope someone set ups a workshop locally and tells me about it.   I prefer highlighting locally available products, services, and classes.

On Saturday, September 29th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., it’s Farm Education & Scout Day at Bates Nut Farm, 15954 Woods Valley Road, Valley Center, CA 92082.

This is a great agricultural experience!!  They have over 25 Agriculture Educators
that will be setting up amazing displays!  Come and learn more about:

  • Hydroponics
  • Early American Tractors & Engines
  • Bee keeping,
  • Bat Rescue
  • Snakes
  • Woolspinning
  • Animals
  • Gardening
  • Insects
  • Science

Hydroponics Workshop

During this Dynamic, Hands On workshop, you will learn the principles of applying hydroponics as a fun and easy sustainable gardening method, then, set up your own kitchen garden with fall veggies and herbs.

The $70 class fee includes all materials and plants.  Registration required as space is limited.    To secure your spot, email: agpals@luckymail.com or call 760-977-8892.

All proceeds directly benefit local agriculture education.   Contact us for additional dates and locations, or if you would like to host a workshop at http://www.batesnutfarm.biz/content.php?content_id=1016.
