For more information, visit http://www.meetup.com/San-Jacinto-Valley-Preppers:

Designing your own Fodder System to feed your Livestock. Ron Skinner, after reviewing various ready to go systems, built our system to feed our meat rabbits, sheep, hogs, and poultry. We have also planted Mulberry and Paulownia Trees “Empress Trees” which supply excellent forage for our livestock (over 20% protein in the leaves), as well as shade/shelter and firewood for heating.

For the 2nd part of this meetup, Dennis Chavez will show how to build a worm bid and will demonstrate several different designs.  He will also speak about bin preparation, initial start-up, and maintenance.
