The 1st Annual Prickly Pear Festival will be on October 18th. This FREE event will be located at the Hamilton Museum & Ranch, 39991 Contreras Road, Anza, CA 92539.
Here is your chance to sample locally made Prickly Pear Jam. It grows in abundance in our valley as well as Anza and is easy to make.

The High Country Conservancy and Anza Electric Coop are sponsoring the 1st ANNUAL PRICKLY PEAR FESTIVAL. It will start small with a booth at the Hamilton Museum Fall Fair Oct 18th.
Please contact me (annika email@example.com or 951-234-1314 cell) if you have any Prickly Pear products, recipes (tunas or nopales) that we can sample or sell as a Conservancy fundraiser, and/or you want to be part of promoting a sustainable native plant that requires no water, no maintenance that just gives and gives.
I am planning on entering some of my prickly pear jam/jelly and juice at the M-COR Food and Garden competition as well, so the humble Opuntia will be well represented!
